The day
Panda's Crew International were out in force to support Matilda when she tackled her one-mile sponsored walk. It was an absolutely amazing day.
She was full of beans, skipping along and loving the attention — from the walkers, and from everyone we met along the way. She is a beautiful dog who has shown extraordinary resilience and strength in the face of what happened to her.
The crew were so pleased to be able to support her. And that cake, well.
Her story
Matilda was hit by a truck and left on the road with a shattered hip and a broken leg. A kind Thai lady stayed with her until Happy Doggo arrived in the middle of the night.
Four weeks in intensive care. Six months of rehabilitation. The fear throughout was that she would never walk again.
